समाजवादी स्मार्टफ़ोन योजना’ के आवेदन हेतु पात्रता की शर्ते इस तरह होनी चाहिए

• जो आवेदक इस योजना में सामिल होना चाहता है वो निवासी उत्तर प्रदेश का होना चाहिए|
• 1 जनवरी 2017 तक आवेदक की उम्र कम से कम १८ वर्ष होनी चाहिए|
• आवेदक की न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता हाई स्कूल तक होनी चाहिए|
• आवेदक अथवा उसके अभिभावक श्रेणी-1 अथवा श्रेणी-2 के शासकीय अधिकारी न हो|
• आवेदक के परिवार की वार्षिक आय रुपये 6.00 लाख से कम हो|

मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव ने पहले मुफ्त लैपटॉप बांटने के बाद उसके चौथे दिन ही ‘समाजवादी स्मार्टफोन योजना’ का एलान कार दिया| उन्होंने यह भी घोसणा की फोन के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया तो एक माह के अंदर ही शुरू हो जाएगी लेकिन फोन अगले वर्ष की दूसरी छमाही से मिलेगा, क्योंकि इस बीच विधानसभा के चुनाव होने वाले है| ऐसे में फिर से सपा सरकार बनने की दशा में ही लोगों को स्मार्टफोन मिल सकेगा|
