Basic Guidelines for INSPIRE Awards

INSPIRE Award fundamental of the INSPIRE Program shall have the following guidelines for its implementation:

• This Award for those students who are studied in the class of 6th and 10^th
• No need for appearing examination in the identification process. Those students names will be suggested by the Principal/ Headmaster/Headmistress.
• One million awards in these five years spreading over to approx 4.5 Lakhs Middle and Secondary level schools in this country.
• Each student will gain an amount of Rs. 5000 for composing a Project and transportation cost for demonstrated the exhibition project in the exposition.
• There will carnival at the District Level, State Level, Regional level and National Level for representing the proper project of each level. Abstracted budget equipping will be made to District/ State to organizing the exhibition of this projects of INSPIRE Awardees at District & State Level.
• Award money will be liberated directly to Awardees by provision with SBI.
• The anxious State will provide the list of all Middle and Secondary level Schools along with Government/Government aided or Private etc.
• Students Names who are studied in the class of 6th, 7th and 9th in one Group and 9th and 10th in another Group of each school with an implication of adopted one name from each Group, i.e., 6th – 8th Std. and 9^th – 10th Std. will be contributed by the Headmaster/Headmistress/Principal of each School by corresponding State Education departments.
• State Education Department will action their comfortable method of selection of those students from each school in the State. Both academic records of the student and exhibition of the project which is done by the students would be favored in the selection process. As per criteria used by the State will be shared with DST.
• DST shall convey the cost of coordinating the Exhibition at the District and State Level and further make the decisive arrangements for appealing Scientists/Academicians as per Jury in these Exhibitions.
